Overlord - The Forge
This is the Forge, Master. Many different pieces of powerful and destructive equipment have come out of this very Forge, like weapons that can slay a Troll King with one blow, armour that can stop a dragon’s fire breath! You can make these and many more but in order to make the forge work you need the Reds and the three smelters. Their ability to control fire i
"Good morning!" The fat-faced grunt's smile grew wider. Adon wrinkled his nose as he noticed the man's sweat. "You must be Mr. Adon, right?"
"Who's asking?"
"Do I really have to say it? You know who we are, and more importantly, they know who we are too."
Fatso gestured behind him for Adon to look over his shoulder. From his front door the red-haired Thai could see two black cargo vans parked a few yards away from his property. With there not being a dedicated road for vehicles in this quaint village, one of the vans had to park right over the broken remains of some unfortunate villager's fence. A couple dozen villagers had come out of the
With so few people in Pai awake for Adon to gloat over his adventure, the proud Thai saw himself back into his home and settled down for the rest of the night. It was a modest home with how similar it looked to many other houses in the area, but there were a few striking differences here and there. For one, the place was wired with electricity. Adon didn't utilize the television often enough, nor did he sit down and surf the internet if the dust and clothing cluttering the designated desk had anything to say about it. "It's real! It's real I tell you!"
"Oh yeah? And how do you know it's real?"
"Because Sunan said so! He's the biggest, toughest, bravest boy in the senior class! He said he heard it!"
"Nuh-uh! Sunan's a big coward. There's no way he woulda gone into the jungle all by himself. You're stupid, and Sunan's a big fat liar."
"No, you're stupid!"
Lessons were over for the day, and the schoolchildren of Pai were brimming with energy and opinions. Rather than head home to work on their homework or to see their parents, they dashed onto a nearby football (soccer) field to blow off some steam and fire up petty arguments.
On one night in the village after most of the humans were snuggled in their beds, a lone youkai wandered the streets. She was a common visitor who stood out with her dark red hair, unfurled wings and devilish tail. Completing the look was a black dress that, when it wasn't being used for work, hugged every generous curve of the youkai's body. She sauntered down side streets and alleys as she checked the doors to homes and inns. When the light from a lantern illuminated her playful and mischievous smile, it had to be none other than Koakuma, Patchouli Knowledge's familiar.
Koakuma, unlike the rogue youkai in Gensokyo, had nothing to fear when
Somewhere in the bitter cold of some unknown city in a place that looks too much like Russia...
CRACK!
"Holy balls, it's so cold out! Why in the world did I decide to wear this getup?" Juri shouted out as she hopped into the shelter of a Russian alehouse. Normally kicking a giant door open wouldn't have hurt so much, but Juri figured that she was getting a taste of frostbite after trudging through the snow without shoes. She closed the door behind her, rubbed her hurt foot and stood up straight with a snap of her fingers. "Oh, right, now I remember. Because I'm Juri-effin'-Han, bitches, and this outfit is too kickass to keep hidden away in
